There were five senior women (The Golden Girls) staying at Derek's house. We all raved about the beauty and comfort of the house as well as the surroundings. Derek was extraordinarily responsive and welcoming. The bedrooms were delightful. We made dinner one night using the grill and the oven. We enjoyed the meal and the dining room table. It was a little too buggy to eat outside, but that's to be expected when you're in New England in August. We were all thrilled and happy by the experience. Thank you Derek!!!

I cannot say enough about Derek's place. We will definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends. We were there for a wedding at the Woodstock Inn. The space is really interesting and cozy. The master bedroom on the first floor is amazing; views of trees in the upper windows, light from the cool skylights and the "indoor greenhouse" in the master. So very beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were really comfortable. We spent our mornings outside having coffee in the several outdoor seating areas and walked to town for breakfast, maybe a mile. Views of greenery, woods and mountain were spectacular. Thanks Derek! All of us loved it and talked way too much about the place when we were there!!!

Derek’s house was a real find. It was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked for those of us who wanted to just relax and cook. We were a party of 4 and had more than enough room. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if in area. Derek was very easy to deal with. We arrived early and he had no problem letting us check in early. He always responded immediately.
