Guest Access

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Starkey Properties by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message. • Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure. City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information: To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62). Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach. Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58. Please note: The property is accessible by golf cart, but golf cart travel is only permitted on the beach. Due to Port Aransas regulations, golf carts cannot access the bay side of Highway 361. Traveling between the property and town by golf cart along the beach typically takes about 20 minutes.

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines. - All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration. - Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age. - All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing. - Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro. - Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately. - Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. - Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. - We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk. - Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only. - Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions. - HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%. - LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed. - This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host. - This is a No Smoking property. The house was stunning. Perfectly laid out. We had 3 couples in the house and the room situation was perfect since each bedroom had its own private bathroom and balcony access plus a half bath downstairs off the kitchen. I will say- if you are planning on grilling, bring your own small portable grill since the grills on the property near the pool were in very bad condition and very dirty. Other than that, this house was incredible and so so close to the beach. We were able to walk down to the beach within 5 minutes and we were even able to access Cinnamon Shore restaurant and shopping through beach access right by our place. If you plan on parking on the beach, you will need to purchase a parking pass. Very easy to obtain through the gas stations and they are only 12 and good through the end of the year. Overall this was a stunning house, well stocked, and very nice and clean. We will be returning.

Perfect spot for a beach weekend. This is in a nice, quiet cluster of homes in a beautiful community. The house very comfortably accommodated 5 adults and 4 toddlers/infants. Furniture, appliances and bathrooms are all perfect. Proximity to the beach is amazing, and the pond with boardwalk is a very nice bonus that the little ones enjoyed. Thank you for having us!

The house was very clean, well decorated and perfect for a family stay! Very spacious and the multiple balconies had great views of sunrises and sunsets. The whole area is clean and quiet. The beach area you have direct access to is less crowded than other parts of the beach, another plus!Just note that the golf cart is not at the residence. You must pick it up off Ave G and drive it down the beach road and enter at the second #42 entrance. These are things that were not noted anywhere. The pick up and drop off were easy, you do have to fill the cart back up but we didn’t mind especially considering it was complementary. The drive down the beach was nice and we did really enjoy having the cart for cruising. Just something to know ahead of time!

Wonderfully clean home, very well thought-out, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, no annoying knick-knacks crowding table tops, well stocked kitchen appliances/dishes (it would have been nice to have a few basic items like salt and pepper for cooking though). The only real suggestion I would make would be to have some towel hooks installed. Portiro Management was super friendly and helpful, and very easy to get hold of, I'd say the best customer service we've had .

Great place to enjoy Port Aransas Beach. it's right next to Cinnamon Shores where you can find good restaurants and shops. the pool was nice and the lake next to the property makes it a peaceful setting. The golf cart included was critical for taking the family to the beach on the private boardwalk. You have to pick the golf cart up in Port Aransas (5mi away), but the drive on the beach was easy. Overall, enjoyed the house...it's quiet, well-decorated, and a restful place to stay.

Great house for hosting a large family beach vacation. Clean, plenty of room, modern well-stocked kitchen. Hosts were very responsive to questions and requests. Access to the golf cart was a huge plus for the short rides back and forth to the beach. I should point out one item - the house is not part of Cinnamon Shores, despite my finding the house when I searched for CS (just helping to manage expectations for a future renter). Without an affiliation with Cinnamon Shores, there is no access to beach chairs or an umbrella, you will need to bring all your beach gear with you from home (the rental did not provide beach stuff). Overall a positive experience, would likely rent here again.
