Space
This 3 bedroom 3 bath oceanfront home is located in the oceanfront community of South Ponte Vedra Beach, between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. It is situated in a private area of single family homes (no high rises or high traffic here!)! It is serene and quiet, yet the house is just 7 miles from historic St. Augustine and 15 miles from posh Ponte Vedra. “Driftwood” has a unique floor plan that offers plenty of privacy in each of the three bedrooms, and has a very inviting social area in the living room and the oceanfront sun room. The house was remodeled in the Spring of 2015. Driftwood is decorated in wonderful ocean colors, and each room has it’s own character. The living room features comfy leather sofas and chairs which surround a large flat screen TV. There is a stereo with CD player, plus books, and games for the entire family to enjoy. The oceanfront sunroom has a daybed, perfect for snuggling up with a book, or stretching out for a lazy nap. There is also a work space for your lap top, should this be a working vacation. Free WIFI is available throughout the house. There is a decorative (non-functional) fireplace with a stunning mantle made from a 300-year old piece of drift wood. The remodeled galley kitchen is fully equipped with everything that the most demanding chef could request. The solid surface counter tops and cabinets are new. There is plenty of counter top space for food prep. The kitchen features a full size refrigerator, plus there is an additional fridge in the garage for extra groceries. There is a glass-top stove, overhead microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and more. There is a door that leads outside to the gas grill. We provide the propane for the grill. There is a laundry room off of the kitchen, so you can keep those sandy bathing suits clean. The dining area features a beautiful wood dining table with seating for 8. The master suite is on the ocean side of the house, so you can listen to the sounds of the ocean at night. The king bed is covered with plush, comfy bedding and pillows. The remodeled master bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a very cozy queen bed and full bathroom. There is a shower-tub combination in this bathroom. The third bedroom has a full size bed with a pull out trundle underneath. This room is great for teens, children, or a young couple. There is a full bathroom in this suite as well, featuring a walk in shower. Every bedroom in the house has a flat screen Smart TV with basic cable provided by Comcast. The back yard is a wonderful place to gather. There is are two wood decks that overlook the yard and the Atlantic Ocean. One deck features a beautiful teak patio set with plenty of seating. The other deck has recliners for you to work on your tan. The back yard has a brand new bulk head, with just a few stairs that lead you down to your own beach. Other amenities include: optional temporary beach club membership, 2-car garage, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, 4 TVs, high speed Internet, books, games, and more. Experience the beauty of sandy shores where you can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, and fish. Take leisurely walks along the beach to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass. Lovely house with lots of extra towels and blankets. It was nice to stay in a place that had some extras in the kitchen: spices, coffee filters, Saran Wrap , dish soap, trash bags. Not having to buy incidentals was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Check your landmarks when leaving g because it’s in a long stretch of highway. Neighbor had a blue light that was our reference at night.

Amazing The house was beautiful, amazing views from the dining and living room. Super comfortable with a bathroom for each room. The house has everything you need. The most important thing for me is how clean is the house and this house was perfect. I am very detailed and usually clean when I arrive and there was no need. Everything was great. We have an issue with the house we rented before and Daniel at wren called me and switched for this house. They were very professional and I appreciate the resolution.

Wonderful House and Guest Service!! We have rented Driftwood several times. The owner has equipped the house with plenty of towels and blankets, dishes and glasses and kitchen supplies. The beds are comfortable, the decor colors are pleasant and the ocean is right outside the door!! [Note to guests: link your phone to the house wifi because the phone reception is a problem unless you do. ] Wren provides outstanding guest services as well. Thank you David, Daphne and Jason! OF COURSE we will be back!
