Just 1.5 miles from downtown, and walking distance to the 11th St District featuring Franklin's BBQ, the Rosewood District (Paperboy, Nickel City, Quickie Pickie, East Side Pies) and Rosewood Park. Hosts are full time professionals here to serve you. Rooms feature internet connected smart TVs to watch streaming services with ease. You have the entire property to yourself and a door code will be provided 24 hrs before you arrive. When arriving by car or ride share, please access the property via the alley only. We will provide more detail on this in the check-in instructions.

Ride sharing services are plentiful in Austin. This property is centrally located and close to everything. You will be able to get to Zilker Park (ACL Fest), Downtown (SXSW), and East Austin very quickly. Scooters and electric bikes are easily accessible in every neighborhood. There are two parking spots available - one in front of the garage and one right next to it on the gravel. There is a third parking spot to the right of the casita that is first come first serve, but usually available. Curbside parking is also available. Please do not block the alleyway or neighbor parking spots.

The property is the B unit accessible from the alleyway with a red exterior. There are two free parking spaces at the property. Do not block the alleyway. PET RULES & FEE: We only allow up to 2 well-behaved and potty-trained dogs under 50 pounds. Pets are not allowed on furniture. We charge $75 per stay. You must clean up and dispose of the pet waste before checkout. Doggy bags are provided. All breeds accepted. HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%. YOU ARE HELPING: A portion of the city hotel tax helps support Austin's musicians and related businesses. Quiet hours 10pm-8am No Parties. No visitors unless approved by Stay Local Austin in advance. No smoking inside the house The designated smoking area is in the alley behind the property. Do NOT smoke on any of the decks or patios. Any additional guests beyond 6 requires prior approval and subject to a $75 charge, per person, per night. All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
