While the town itself is walkable, it will be necessary to drive to nearby hikes and sightseeing spots. The outer parts of town, such as South Woodstock, are only conveniently accessed by car. • Bike rentals are available in the village, though biking in the commercial area of the village is discouraged, as the flow of people and cars can be concentrated. The terrain has many hills, and a mountain bike should be used to traverse such rugged areas. Non compliance could result in sizable fines. • All guests staying at an Field and Farms Vacation Homes by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration. • Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age. • Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Field and Farm by Portoro directly. • Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately. • Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. • We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. • Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only. • In the State of Vermont and in Windsor County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction. • There is no guard around the pools. Use at your own risk. • This is a No Smoking property. We used this house as a homebase for a friend gathering. It was perfectly appointed for our group of 5 adults, 2 tiny humans and a dog. Plenty of space for us to be either together or separate. Whether it was cool private bedrooms, a relaxing living space or the beautiful porches and backyard it was a nice place to just be and connect. The host was clear with instructions and what what provided with the home. We loved the location; just far enough away that you feel secluded, but just a short drive to a highway or town.

Wow, this stay was incredible. I just checked out, and I miss it already. I truly wish I booked a longer stay. As you can see from my Airbnb history, I do a tremendous amount of traveling and this was by far my favorite Airbnb to date. The home radiates the most lovely energy… you can tell there have been lots of great times shared there… and my dogs and I sure added to those great times over this past week :) I loved my mornings outside, and my dogs loved the pond and yard so much. I truly can’t say enough good things. I am building a house up the road so I will be in the area a lot over the next year while all of the work takes place. I hope I can stay again in the future. What a wonderful weekend we had at Half Past Six. The house was cozy, but yet had room to spread out and each group had their own space. The old farmhouse is in a beautiful location with amazing views including a pond and a creek in the backyard. Perfect setting for morning coffee on the back deck or the rocking chairs on the front porch. Amazing views all around! The ONLY complaint I had was no comfy furniture on the large back deck. I could have napped out there! We loved our stay and hope to be back again someday!

Half Past Six was the perfect place to stay for a group friends getting together for a ski trip. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and my dog Skipper was happy to join us there! The host was extremely communicated and gave clear instructions for check in, check out, and all other necessary information. I would definitely stay here again if we made a trip back to Pomfret!

We loved this cozy home for our weekend ski trip! The racks for our skis/snowboards and mat for boots at the entrance was a nice touch. The house was quaint and had its charms. It was so spacious - there were 3 living rooms and so many bathrooms. Host was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and cozy as well. We hope to return someday!

Our family loved staying at Half Past Six for the New Year's long weekend. A short, easy drive to Killington and Pico to ski, and walkable to Saskadena Six. Woodstock is a lovely community with great restaurants and shops nearby. The house provided lots of space for our family of 5 to spread out, relax, cook a big family meal and hike nearby trails. The linens were fresh and clean, the beds comfortable, and we love the family memorabilia adorning the walls of this well kept and newly upgraded Vermont family farm house. We will definitely be renting again!

The house was comfortable for our whole family, well furnished, and set on a quiet country road that made for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our stay with our adult children and grandchildren. The house had a great floor plan with lots of room for the 9 of us. There were great areas to sit and play games. It was a bit chilly to play outside for too long but the yard was great for the kid too.The location was close to Woodstock for shopping and dining. It was also close to our favorite coffee spot.We would recommend this house and choose to stay again if we return to the area.

We had such a great stay! We were two families (4 adults, 3 young kids, and 2 dogs), and the house was perfect for us. It was really well set up so each family had their own space, and everything we needed was right there. The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful from start to finish.The location was great, as it was quaint, quiet and relaxing, but within 30 minutes of several great family-friendly farms and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a weekend getaway with kids and dogs. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely old farmhouse located out in the country outside of Woodstock. The place has been decorated really nicely and was very comfortable and worn in. The kitchen is very well appointed and a great place to cook meals. We enjoyed having the yard for the dog although its not fully fenced in on all sides so something to be aware of. While the house is right on the road, its not too busy so was very quiet most of the time. This would be a great place for a bunch of friends or extended family as there were multiple living areas, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice big dining table.

Vintage Vermont farmhouse with all its charm and uniqueness. Lots of areas to sit, hang out and be comfortable. Huge backyard. Great off street parking. Updated kitchen. Comfortable beds. We spent every night hanging out on the front porch taking in the scenery. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly stay again when in the area.

Family of five on a northeast road trip enjoyed a rather cold but very beautiful snowy few days in this home that clearly has been loved by many for many, many years. We enjoyed being a part of the history. Kids had fun in the snow exploring the backyard. Plenty of space and beautiful views. Only downside was not being able to use the fireplaces!
