Lovely house with fire pit out back conducive to evening fireside chats. Close enough to downtown Hudson that guests can take advantage of all the restaurants, shopping, etc. going on downtown. But also quiet and remote.

The Hudson house and firepit was beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean -- just like the photos. The only slight problem was that the door code didn't work, but Portoro had also sent me the code for a dropbox containing house keys so we were able to get in. I read in some reviews that it was problematic dealing with a management company like Portoro rather than a private owner. But I found the Portoro team extremely helpful and efficient, quickly answering my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Everything was perfect! The home is immaculate. Beds comfortable, kitchen so generously stocked - even with coffee and tea and thoughtful to-go cups! We loved using this as our home base as we explored Hudson and Rhinebeck!
