Getting Around
Inlet Beach is a great starting point for exploring Walton County’s eastern 30A corridor, with easy access to nearby beach towns and plenty of options for biking and driving. Many guests love using the Timpoochee Trail (30A’s bike path) for scenic rides into Rosemary Beach and beyond, while a vehicle is helpful for grocery runs, beach hopping, and day trips across South Walton. Traveling to/around the area - Explore by foot, by bike, or by car: • A car is recommended for exploring beyond the immediate 30A corridor, as rideshares and taxis can be limited and wait times can vary. • Biking is one of the best ways to experience 30A—use the Timpoochee Trail to reach nearby beaches, dining, and shopping areas safely and enjoyably. • Walking works well for short trips and beach access days, but plan to drive for larger grocery runs and farther excursions. • Bike rentals are widely available along 30A if you want extra bikes for your group—helmets are recommended, and the paths can get busy during peak season. Airports: • Northwest Florida Beaches International (ECP) [FL] • Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) [FL] • Pensacola International Airport (PNS) [FL] Popular Landmarks: • Inlet Beach • Rosemary Beach • Alys Beach • The Big Chill (The Hub 30A) • Seaside, FL • Grayton Beach State Park
