Skylights and wooded views bring in natural light, while the gas range, farmhouse sink, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, French press, and electric kettle make it easy to settle in and cook together. The kitchen offers door access to the furnished deck for seasonal outdoor dining. Also on the main level is a queen bedroom off the living room with a private balcony and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. A half bathroom is nearby. A separate office and flex room provides a desk and hardwired internet for guests who need a quiet place to work. Upstairs, the primary suite features a king bed, TV, ceiling fan, closet and dresser storage, a private balcony overlooking the pond, and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and glass-enclosed shower. Two additional bedrooms, both with full beds, each offer a ceiling fan and storage. A full hall bathroom with a shower and tub serves these rooms. The outer parts of town, such as South Woodstock, are only conveniently accessed by car. • Bike rentals are available in the village, though biking in the commercial area of the village is discouraged, as the flow of people and cars can be concentrated. The terrain has many hills, and a mountain bike should be used to traverse such rugged areas.
