Set on a quiet canal off Devils Lake with no neighbors on three sides, this home is made for slow mornings, fresh coastal air, and peaceful water views that instantly put you in vacation mode. Inside, the space is comfortable and welcoming, with modern appliances, cozy furnishings, and a living area that’s perfect for movie nights on the flatscreen TV after a day outside. The kitchen and dining area are sunny and functional, with plenty of counter space for prepping meals and snacks, and an easy layout that keeps everyone together while you cook, chat, and plan the day. Big windows bring in natural light and frame the scenery outside, so even a simple breakfast feels like part of the getaway. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, the home sleeps up to eight guests comfortably, making it a great fit for families or a small group of friends. The primary bedroom is calm and coastal, with an en suite bath for extra privacy, while the additional bedrooms include fun bunk-room options that kids (and kids-at-heart) will love. A washer and dryer are also available, so you can pack light and keep things easy. Please note this is a no-pets home. Outside is where Canal Cottage really shines. Step onto the dock to take in the view, watch the water drift by, or launch a kayak or paddleboard right from the backyard and explore Devils Lake at your own pace. When you’re craving ocean air, it’s just a short three-block walk to the D River beach access—one of Lincoln City’s most loved spots for long sandy strolls, sunsets, and kite flying. You’ll also be close to grocery stores, the public library, and a great mix of casual and fine dining, with the Lincoln City Outlets about a mile south. If you’re visiting in season, the nearby D River State Recreation Site hosts the Lincoln City Summer Kite Festival. Please Note: This home is located in an area that may flood from Devils Lake after multiple consecutive days of heavy rainfall, and a high-profile vehicle may be needed during those conditions.

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Blue Pacific by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 2 weeks prior to arrival by email and text message. • Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

You’re just three blocks from the D River beach access—one of Lincoln City’s favorite spots for sandy strolls, sunsets, kite flying, and easy ocean days—while the backyard dock makes it just as simple to spend your time on the lake. Launch a kayak or paddleboard right from the property, explore Devils Lake’s calm waters, then head back into town for coffee, groceries, and dinner without a long drive. The Lincoln City Outlets are about a mile south, and you’ll also be near the public library plus a mix of casual and fine dining options. Other Things to Note
Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines. - All guests staying at one of our Blue Pacific by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration. - Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age. - All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing. - Occupancy: The allowed number of guests or Occupancy is specifically limited to the maximum number of people designated for that particular property and anyone in the property at any time during your stay (24-hours/day) and includes any children 24 months and older (not just sleeping there, includes temporary guests). Blue Pacific by Portoro does not allow “group rentals” in any Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro properties, where more than 1 property is being rented; regardless if the property is managed by Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro, if the group total size exceeds the maximum occupancy of the largest Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro property rented. - Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Portoro. - Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately. - Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. - Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. - We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - Parking: Instructions for parking will be included in Guest check-in details. Boats, campers, RV’s, etc. cannot be parked onsite. - Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only. - Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions. - HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both Lincoln County and the State of Oregon requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 1.5% and the county requires 12%. - This is a No Pets property and animals of any kind are strictly prohibited by the HOA. Guest acknowledges Blue Pacific by Portoro is not responsible for any issues or disputes with this posted policy regardless of any paperwork provided/filed or any other policies provided by the Guest. Absolutely no animals of any kind are allowed in the home, kept in vehicles, on back patio decks, in any common areas, or on the premises at any time. Any guests found with an animal on the premises, will be required to vacate without refund and will be subject to fines. - This is a No Smoking/Vaping property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host. Booking Schedules: During some seasons, if your reservation dates leave/cause open nights that we cannot rent or less than the required minimum of the date range for the rental season (what we refer to as a "dead night" & we do not offer 1-night rentals), a representative will review the reservation and call you to address the issue before booking confirmation and issuing your e-signature rental agreement (not to a stay we have already finalized with you). We will offer to change your dates or move you to an alternate property, if available. If you are unable to accept the change you may request to cancel the reservation for a full refund by submitting a cancellation request (any partial refund will be overridden to a full refund). Saturday Arrivals and Departures: During some seasons, Saturday arrivals or departures requests are subject to scheduling approval/review in our Coast Properties and may not be available (peak and off-peak season), a representative will review the reservation and call you to address the issue before booking confirmation and issuing your e-signature rental agreement (not to a stay we have already finalized with you). We will offer to change your dates or move you to an alternate property, if available. If you are unable to accept the change you may request to cancel the reservation for a full refund by submitting a cancellation request (any partial refund will be overridden to a full refund). Same Day Arrival Booking Requests: We are typically unable to accommodate bookings made on the day of arrival. Should the system permit the booking, a reservation representative will review the reservation and call you to address the issue and a full refund will be offered due to the system issue/error. You may request to cancel the reservation for a full refund by submitting a cancellation request (any partial refund will be overridden to a full refund). -- If we are able to accommodate a "same day arrival" booking request, guest agrees the check-in time could be modified up to 6:00pm (PT) depending on availability. The reservation representative will advise guest on options available to them. Calendar and Rates Errors: At times computer system may not sync the calendars or nightly rates correctly due to a system error receiving the over the air data in their computer system. To assist our guests, we have provided our minimum night requirements by season. With your acceptance of the House Rules and rental terms and conditions, you agree that the written minimum nights apply and should a rates issue occur due to invalid computer system issues, we will offer to change your dates, adjust your rates, or move you to an alternate property, if available. If you are unable to accept the change you may request to cancel the reservation for a full refund by submitting a cancellation request (any partial refund will be overridden to a full refund). Holidays: Day of holiday arrivals/departures must be approved due to staff availability and office closure on the following holidays. Early check-in or late check-out requests are typically not available on these dates.: - Easter Sunday - Memorial Day - 4th of July - Labor Day - Thanksgiving Day - Christmas Eve (can be reviewed) & Christmas Day - New Years Eve (can be reviewed) & New Years Day Please send an inquiry prior to booking or alternate date options will be sent. If you are unable to accept the change you may request to cancel the reservation for a full refund by submitting a cancellation request (any partial refund will be overridden to a full refund). Weather/Travel: Guest booking in seasons when weather conditions may affect their decision to travel understand they are choosing to do so in full knowledge of the season and agree that last minute requests to cancel or attempts to change stay/reservation dates in these seasons are not honored and no refund or reimbursement applies.
