Welcome to Sandy Toes!, your beach paradise! Walking in the front door, you will encounter the airy two-story living/dining area with floor-to-ceiling glass sliders overlooking the dunes and ocean. The house underwent major interior and exterior renovations, all completed late spring 2019. Come enjoy this spectacular beach home. With 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, spacious Sandy Toes is perfect for virtually any group. The gorgeous open kitchen is fully stocked with everything your vacationing chef could wish for. A full bath is located off the main hallway, with a convenient door allowing direct access to the back deck, hot tub and beach. Gather in the living room on the oversized comfy leather sectional, while enjoying cable or streaming programs on the over-sized flat-screen TV above the fireplace. Fun fact: every bedroom has its own wall-mounted flat-screen television! At Sandy Toes, we provide a gas grill, beach chairs, towels, ice chests and more to assure that you enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
Sandy Toes now features four bedrooms with king beds, which makes it perfect for multiple couples. All of the beds have plush pillows, luxurious sheets, and thick memory-foam mattresses for added comfort.
On the main floor, the spacious master bedroom has its own dedicated bathroom with a large shower. Also, we have the large sunken “bunk room” for the kids. It features a twin-over-double bunk bed with a pull-out trundle underneath, sleeping 4. The huge flat-screen tv and cozy bean bag chairs are favorites.
Upstairs there are three more king bedrooms: two on the ocean side with Atlantic views, a third overlooking the Guana Preserve, a nearly 80,000-acre wildlife reserve that beckons with a myriad of outdoor opportunities such as kayaking, hiking and biking. A full bathroom upstairs with a shower-tub combination completes the floor.
Through the glass doors in the living room you will find a spacious deck nestled into the dune. Here you can work on your tan in one of our lounge chairs or enjoy lunch with the gang at one of the two outdoor tables. Relax in the niche seating area at the end of the walkway and watch spectacular sunrises with your morning coffee or admire the sandpipers flitting in the surf with an evening cocktail. Have a long day of shopping in St. Augustine? Relax those tired muscles in our large hot tub! The spa is maintained weekly and is a great way to unwind, day or night.
At Sandy Toes, most pets are welcome! We now have a fully fenced-in pet yard on the south side of the house, so your pooch has a safe and grassy area to stretch his/her legs. We do ask that you clean up after your pets.
