Space

The space
This entire home in Port Aransas accommodates up to 9 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, offering room to spread out while staying connected. High ceilings, hardwood floors, and coastal décor shape an easygoing atmosphere throughout. Each bedroom opens to its own balcony, creating private outdoor moments to step outside and take in the surrounding coastal setting. TVs provide a simple way to unwind after long beach days, and in-home washer and dryer access adds convenience for extended stays.

The kitchen supports everything from quick breakfasts to shared evening meals. Its open layout keeps the space social, allowing conversation to flow between cooking, dining, and relaxing nearby. Outdoor living
Outdoor spaces are a central part of the experience. Three private decks, along with a patio or balcony, offer multiple places to enjoy the coastal air throughout the day. A backyard area provides additional open space to relax outdoors. Within the Casa La Playa community, guests also have access to a shared lagoon-style pool and a community BBQ grill area, making it easy to enjoy time outside without leaving the neighborhood.

Situated in the Casa La Playa community, the home offers boardwalk access toward the beach and a golf cart-friendly layout that makes exploring simple. The community also features a lagoon-style pool and a lake where fishing is available. Nearby beach access allows for spontaneous walks along the shore and relaxed days by the water.
Family-friendly features
Traveling with younger guests is made easier with family-focused amenities, including a Pack ’n Play or travel crib and a high chair. Extra pillows and blankets add comfort for guests of all ages.
Parking & longer stays
Free parking is available on the premises within the community, with space for multiple vehicles. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome, offering flexibility for extended coastal getaways.

City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:
To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62). Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach. Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.
Please note: The property is accessible by golf cart, but golf cart travel is only permitted on the beach. Due to Port Aransas regulations, golf carts cannot access the bay side of Highway 361. Traveling between the property and town by golf cart along the beach typically takes about 20 minutes.
Getting Around
Getting around Port Aransas is truly part of the vacation experience, and the island’s laid-back vibe makes exploring both fun and easy. Embrace the local lifestyle by hopping in a golf cart—the preferred mode of transportation for both residents and visitors. Golf carts are perfect for cruising between the beach, shops, and restaurants, letting you soak up the sun and salty breeze as you go. If you’re looking for a bit more adventure and want to stay active, renting a bicycle is a great option. Pedal through the colorful streets at your own pace, discovering hidden gems and scenic spots that you might otherwise miss.
For those who enjoy taking it slow, Port Aransas is also a wonderful place to explore on foot. Stroll along the sandy shoreline, pop into unique boutiques, and savor local cuisine at your leisure. And don’t forget the iconic ferry ride—not just a convenient way to get around, but a memorable experience in itself. The ferry offers breathtaking views of the bay and, if you’re lucky, a chance to spot dolphins playing in the waves. However you choose to get around, Port Aransas makes every journey feel relaxed, scenic, and unmistakably island-inspired.

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.
- This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.
