On The Beach! Welcome to “Seahorse” at Seaside Cottages, the perfect vacation rental in Port Aransas, TX. This unique coastal home features ocean views, a large pool-side front deck, direct beach-access, a private fenced yard, and a pool. Congratulations, you’ve found the treasure!
Space
This is it! This single-level 3-bedroom 2-bath beach house sleeps 8 comfortably, with an open kitchen and living room floor plan and washer/dryer. From the front porch, walk directly out to the pool, enjoy sprawling views over the rolling dunes to the south, and look east to check the surf. This is as close to the waves as you can get. The driveway goes straight out onto the actual sand beach access road. There is a large guitar-shaped pool shared among the three houses on the property, with a large pool deck that can accommodate several groups.

Just north of beach marker 10, the location features the perfect mix of convenience to in-town amenities and wide-open beach access right at your doorstep, while still maintaining a sense of privacy that feels like you’re on an “island within the island”.
This property is managed by the region’s premiere 24/7 rental service provider, so you can rest assured that your stay will be smooth and hassle-free.
Your golf cart is included with pick up/drop off at the home.

Seaside Cottages is comprised of three newly-constructed but separate beach houses, available for rent individually or together. Each home has its own uniquely-curated design, view, and privately fenced yard. All three units sit on an acre of beachfront property. The three individual houses combined can sleep a whopping 20 people, which makes it perfect for wedding parties or family gatherings, offering a large capacity but also privacy between groups. Inquire about group discounts when renting multiple units.
Guest Access
We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Starkey Properties by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.
• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.
City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:
To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62). Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach. Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.
Note: This residence is not situated in an area accessible by golf carts, as crossing Highway 361 with a golf cart is against the law.

For those who enjoy taking it slow, Port Aransas is also a wonderful place to explore on foot. Stroll along the sandy shoreline, pop into unique boutiques, and savor local cuisine at your leisure. And don’t forget the iconic ferry ride—not just a convenient way to get around, but a memorable experience in itself. The ferry offers breathtaking views of the bay and, if you’re lucky, a chance to spot dolphins playing in the waves. However you choose to get around, Port Aransas makes every journey feel relaxed, scenic, and unmistakably island-inspired.

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.
- This home is pet-friendly. Please note, only dogs allowed and 50lb weight limit, up to 2 dogs per stay. $150.00 fee applies, per stay, per pet.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beachside Airbnb! The home had everything we needed and more — it truly felt like it was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk (or a quick golf cart ride) to the beach, which made getting back and forth with the kids a breeze.The provided golf cart was such a thoughtful touch and made exploring the area so much fun. The pool was a highlight — clean, spacious, and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The house itself was beautifully maintained, fully stocked, and incredibly family-friendly.From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. It was the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway with the family. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience, very responsive host. couldn't find the toaster, contacted the host and there was a new one waiting for us after we got back from the beach. the family loved the heated pool, billiards and other games at the house. definitely recommend and will stay again.
