Non compliance could result in sizable fines. - All guests staying at an Field and Farms Vacation Homes by Portoro (Portoro Homes) are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration. - Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age. - Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. I recently stayed at a charming home near Woodstock, VT, and it truly felt like a cozy retreat. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm atmosphere that made it feel just like home. The space was stocked with plenty of towels, which is always a nice touch, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. Honestly felt like I was staying at a hotel!One of the highlights was the 24/7 support offered by the hosts. They were always available to assist with any questions or needs, which added to the overall positive experience. The location was perfect too—just a short drive to the town, making it easy to explore the local shops and restaurants.Overall, this home exceeded my expectations and provided a wonderful getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay near Woodstock!

This was a lovely rental. The location is great and the house is spacious and airy. The Kendron Valley Inn is just a few doors down with the best gluten free pizza we have ever had. I would come back in a heartbeat. I also loved that it was old school without outdoor cameras.

Surreal. Putting aside all whoever are the New England locals, regulars or otherwise keen to the scenery and custom - the place and the surroundings are of some acute beauty, both profoundly historic and palpably humane, unpretentious and sincerely lived off. For a such of us seeking (and oh so often disappointed of at the end) for some change of scenery for a serene while and often deterred by plasticky means of mass-market hospitality - the place here is quite a blend of sheer and fascinating quirkiness, notwithstanding comforts and, all atop, entwined into the (almost) uncanny prettiness awash at the township of Woodstock, VT and the forested hills it’s nestled between. Autumn is very advised. Fabulous.

The house was comfortable and pleasant. The layout is a little funky as it is an old Vermont house. The timber frame construction in the master suite is gorgeous. It is in a gorgeous etting with a great outdoor sitting area. The kitchen is nicely appointed and has all you could need. A fantastic tavern with great gourmet pizza and apps is a short walk. Brett was amazing. There were a few hiccups with some house systems that Brett was able to take care of quickly. He was incredibly responsive and kind. These house hiccups did not negatively affect our stay at all. Thank you for a great place to stay for the long weekend.
