We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Starkey Properties by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message. • Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure. City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information: To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62). Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach. Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58. Please note: The property is accessible by golf cart, but golf cart travel is only permitted on the beach. Due to Port Aransas regulations, golf carts cannot access the bay side of Highway 361. Traveling between the property and town by golf cart along the beach typically takes about 20 minutes.

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines. - All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration. - Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age. - All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing. - Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro. - Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately. - Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. - Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. - We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk. - Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only. - Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions. - HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%. - LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed. - This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host. - This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host. - For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. We loved our vacations!My family and I had a wonderful time. The beach is super close and easy to get to. And when we didn't feel like going to the beach, the pool was great. The layout of the house was perfect for a family of 10, and the kitchen was my favorite part—so beautiful!The host's service was excellent; they always responded to our messages super quickly. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect location for our family. Extremely close to the beach but not so close that you get constant foot traffic. It's also a quick beach walk over to Cinnamon Shore faux town with a few restaurants, no need to drive at all.The beach access is super easy and accessable.The house itself is clean and fully stocked (bring sugar if you need it for coffee or tea!) but there are plenty of cooking supplies and dishes and ample places to eat. The bedroom separation is quite nice, too. The kids can have the lower half of the house while the adults are on the second floor. It makes for a quieter stay. The master bedroom bed was perfect for me but may be a little soft for heavier people but for this lightweight body, I sank in quite lovely and stayed cozy all night. I rarely sleep well on vacation but I slept pretty well here. The communication is outstanding, you know what to expect. The BEST part? You don't have to do any housekeeping upon leaving! Just take the trash out, that's it! No stripping of beds, no running a load in the laundry room, nothing. Just take the trash out! (We ran the dishwasher on our way out, too. As a courtesy that we always do anyway. Most vacation rentals, we have to do some sort of laundering but not here! We just made our beds and left!I highly recommend this place and if we come back, we will definitely stay here again if it's available!

My young adult children and I loved the place!!! The area is very nice and convenient. Early morning we walked the beach, and got coffee at the nearby coffee shop. We sun-bathed, swam, built a bon-fire, made a friend from the Dominican Republic that drove us around the beach in his golf cart, and shopped at Cinnamon Shores North. It was a short drive to Woody’s for a boat ride to watch the dolphins, and stopped at Castaway Restaurant. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for the experience!!

We had a great time in Port Aransas! The home was clean and comfortable. The pool was great! A few things that surprised me: only one trashbag was provided; only one kitchen towel was available; and there were no cleaning supplies at all such as a disinfecting spray for the kitchen. So bring extra trash bags, paper towels, and cleaning supplies you might need. Overall, we were pleased with the home.

The location was perfect. The house was super nice, clean, and organized. It looked as though it had everything you need for the kitchen. Love that all cabinets and drawers were labeled so you didn’t have to dig around. Only suggestion is extra kitchen towels and bigger coffee cups. See ya next year!

Port A getaway This was one of the areas we haven't stayed yet on Port A. We loved that it was away from the noise of golf carts with music. This area at night was quiet. There was construction across from the house. So around 0800 you can hear the concrete truck, etc. The construction crew did block vehicles at times. The kitchen is well stocked, even with a coffee bean grinder, lots of toasters, very cute refrigerator. Its nice that there is a half bath off the kitchen. I don't know why but I wasn't thinking of the stairs, probably because I didn't recall reading or seeing a photo. So if you have someone in your party having issues with that. The tub on the first level has an issue with doing a bath. But I'm sure if you ask the property manager will help with it. As we had issues with remotes for the tvs and we someone knocking on the door to fix it that day. The check in information on the property will be emailed with a link, instead of a binder like most vrbo properties have. If you do get a golf cart with your reservation, you have to go to a place to pick up and drive down the beach. Something I was expected because of past properties. This one is just a little different. The community pool is outside your door. Im crazy about the beds/pillows and very pleasantly surprise that they all very comfortable. That is very hard to find when staying at different vrbos. We would definitely stay in this area again. Close to our favorite restaurant Lisabellas.

Christmas Family Vaca Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very clean property and having the golf cart came in handy. The pool was nice and right outside your doorstep. It is important to note the bunkbeds do have a weight limit which we were not aware of prior to booking. Not ideal for our large size teenagers but we were able to make things work.
