There is limited public transportation and car services near the house so we strongly recommend bringing or renting a car. The neighborhood surrounding The Catskills Waterfall House is all about immersing yourself in nature and tranquility. While the property itself offers unparalleled privacy and direct access to the forest and waterfall, the area is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. You can explore nearby hiking trails, enjoy scenic drives, or simply take in the beauty of the protected national forest that surrounds the home. • Important Note: Exploring the waterfall and swimming in the creek is at guests’ own risk. Please exercise caution near any body of water on or near the property. • Guests will have access to the entire house, excluding a locked owner’s closet, supply room, and machine/laundry room. • Winter Access Notice: The driveway and parking area is plowed in winter. During snowy conditions, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended for reaching the home. If you’re traveling without one, access may be difficult or not possible at times.
